Longhi’s showroom in Milan displays the quality of materials and technologies used in the products’ manifactirung and the variety of the two most important collections: LoveLuxe and Aluminium Chic. There are also In&out collections, designed to decorate the outdoor. Materials are specifically selected to guarantee the durability of each product . The quality is ensured by cutting-edge technologies, too. Longhi participates every year to the “Salone del Mobile” , the international fair in Milan, as one of the most important experts in furniture. Longhi’s masterpiece is Elda, an armchair designed by Joe Colombo in 1963. Thanks to its innovative design, this armchair is showed at the Museum of modern Art in New York and at the Louvre in Paris. The plastic material which it is made with, is reinforced by glass fiber. Joe Colombo was inspired by the technology used to build boat hulls to obtain a structure both light and strong.
